Resume / CV tips: styling

1. Decide on a style and replicate it throughout.
2. Choose a font that is easy to read: Times New Roman and Arial are some of the most commonly used.
3. Avoid fancy fonts and complex formatting.
4. Use bold face and bullets to attract attention to key content.
5. White space draws the eye to important information eg extra spacing between sections helps the reader.
