Resume / CV tips: sections
- Divide your content into key sections:
- heading (ie your name and contact information)
- a profile
- work experience
- qualifications
- skills
- personal details
- references
- You may want to include extra sections eg languages.
- The above list of sections is in order of importance. This will vary from person to person. For example, recent graduates may want to stress their education over any (part-time) work experience.
- Research what is required in your sector eg IT workers would need a technical skills section.
